Kinds and Characteristics

1. PTFE
As one-coat or two-coat type, it is used at highest temperature (290° / 550 °F) on the fluoro resin layers. It has low friction coefficient and is divided into aqueous product and oily product.

2. FEP
As advanced type of PTFE, its heat resistance is less than PTFE.
FEP coating changes into flexible substance during sintering and forms a non-porous film. The FEP coating has the merits of excellent non-stick, chemical resistance and corrosion resistance, and divided into aqueous products and oily products.

3. PFA
Securing both merits of FEP and PTFE, the fluoro resin has excellent non-stick and heat resistance. PFA coating forms a non-porous film such as FEP. It may be successively used at 260° / 500 °F and in case of demand for chemical resistance, a grade is separately prepared to increase the film thickness by 1300 µm.
